Lee Child Reacher series is good.You can't go wrong with Steinbeck.Machio Kaku is good if you like science.
Goat Song by Frank Yerby..Sparta in the Peloponessian Wars with Athens.
The Good Earth by Pearl Buck..Story of a Chinese peasants rise to wealth.
All of John Grisham is good as is Twain.Louis Lamour wrote some excellent westerns.
Stephan Hawkins books quite interesting.Carl Sagan,Cosmos,The demon haunted world,Broca's Brain. Kon Tiki Thor Heyerdahl,Guns,Germs and Steel,Jared Diamond.The Odyssey,the Iliad, The Peloponessian Wars.Early Tom Clancy,Johnny Boggs writes good westerns also.Bill Bryson is good.
I've read thousands of books but those should keep you busy for a while.Good reading,have fun :)
Yep you're right also not PC anymore but a good read nonetheless.
Alexandre Dumas' "The Count of Monte Christo" and "The Three Musketeers" are just great books.
