Are we humans virus to Earth and Covid-19 is the vaccine?

According to Scientists, Earth’s Ozone Layer appears to be recovering and repairing itself, we were slowly destroying our planet and if something is not done, our children and their children might not have a place to live, luckily for some of us we are still alive and others have sacrificed their lives so that we can have a chance to live more and inhale a lil bit of clean air. I think after corona virus is gone, we should lock down Earth for a Month atleast once every year.
As I stated in my first topic here, I often ask myself similar questions when I see how people behaves...

And no, Covid-19 is not the vaccine, more a warning. Such warnings comes from time to time through the history, as plagues, WW1 and 2, strong eartquakes, floods, etc, but we will never understand and learn, as we did not already from the past...
Well, people are recovering, so this isn't really doing a good job of killing off the humans.
#3 the cases are still going up taking more people into the hospitals taking them from polluting so it is helping. then again the hospitals also use electricity and that adds to the pollution. If anything there's less litter.
Interesting conversation....I believe that honestly the world will be ok and this is only a warning to stop us from the worst of it.
Nothing on this planet self-regulates. You pitch yeast into a "perfect" environment and they'll consume sugars until they've produced enough alcohol to force themselves into dormancy. Take a plant from it's native habitat where it might have fauna that consumes it and flora that can compete against it, stick it elsewhere where it won't be eaten and outcompetes that region's flora, and it may choke out all of that region's native flora (and go on to impact the fauna that depended on it).

As far as viruses go they're not much different. If they're too "good" at killing they kill before they can spread and those strains cease to be. Perhaps the biggest changes in recent history are modern air travel and the population density of major cities. Now deadly viruses can expediently propagate before running their course, to whatever end, in an infected individual. Ebola could have been far worse than it was. Coronavirus, if this strain were deadlier, could have been a disaster. And that's not to rule out reassortment and a deadlier strain taking over.

Back to humanity we are probably the only species potentially capable of self regulation. It would undoubtedly be in our interests. Whether we ever will without it being forced upon us remains to be seen.
If anything I think COVID 19 is the virus(real hot take on things) and we Humans are just doing what nature has deigned for us to do. As if the earth was some kind of paradise before we came! Brain eating parasites and vicious animals are just some of the examples of this „mother nature“ that we so cherish and personify as a loving woman, why should we be considering an actual VIRUS that lives in our bodies and kills us a harbinger of some kind of justice for our rightly earned and accrued position on the top of the food chain? Regardless of whatever kind of misdeeds we like to pin on ourselves it is in my belief neither insightful nor justified to compare ourselves as a virus when there are countless examples of flora and fauna far worse in instinct and action than what we humans, capable of empathy and free thought are capable of. It wasn‘t long ago that we were being hunted and tortured by the exact same entity that we call earth, there are countless reports of plague and natural disasters that wrought havoc onto humans so what kind of respect/reverence should we even owe to the planet that had forced us to adapt in the way that we did? I do understand the point being made that pollution is harming the environment and is thereby effectively harming us, but I do not believe there is any moral or mutually beneficial relationship that we owe to this planet or it‘s other inhabitants.
Looking at the countries in EU, we can learn quite a bit. EU means "Europian Union", right? Well, we see now it is not - every country worry only for his own good. Instead to help eachother, China actually donated all help.

There is no humanity, only empty words. This is disaster and only confirms humanty is dead already long long time ago.

Homo homini lupus!
“Your problem is you spent your whole life thinking there are rules. There aren’t. We used to be gorillas. All we had was what we could take and defend.”

― Lorne Malvo Fargo.
Actually,we didn't used to be gorillas at all. And gorillas don't take stuff and defend it.
Eventually our star will expand and fry the solar system before it shrinks back to being an insignificant dwarf star in some galactic backwater.
So you see..it's not really as bad as it seems right now.
