Am I evil?

Recently, I seem to have stumbled like a drunken walrus into a plethora of flame wars in the off-topic section, even though I try not to participate in these exchanges. Further, I am inevitably accused of bullying children whenever I get roped into one of these. This is entirely unfair; I'd like to think that I'd be effective enough as a bully to gain my own attention.
Problem is, I'm not behaving any differently than I ever have on this site. I've always been prone to the occasional satirical comment, but I try to make sure that I'm not being rude towards any individual.
I guess what I'm trying to ask is: Am I evil and, if so, what evil actions am I performing, so that I may cut back on them?

By the way, the message was genuine, but the title was totally a reference to this: youtu.be/TVid_fLzN5g
I confused the title with Danzig's"Am I Demon" for some reason but now I'm rocking out. I'm pretty sure inspiring others to rock out is textbook not-evil, ergo you are not evil.
Evil is somewhat of an oudated concept - selfish, arrogant, unsympathising, cruel, and so forth are perhaps more accurate descriptions of what you might mean.

" Am I evil and, if so, what evil actions am I performing, so that I may cut back on them?"
- Not really a question many "evil" people would be asking now, is it?

You have opinions on what you like and what you don't like. That's perfectly fine and you're free to express them. Just because others might not share those opinions does not mean that they are wrong, that they are right, that you are personally attacking those individuals, or that you are personally responsible for massaging their egos. Yes - we can all stand to be a little bit more understanding of what others are going through and to put ourselves in their shoes, but that's a two-way street and it requires open-mindedness on all sides, which you are clearly capable of, as is evidenced by asking the very question.
^Yet another example of how Nietzsche was ahead of his time.
There, there, @clousems. The world beating up on you? We’ve all been there. Have a seat and a drink. First of all, all people are deeply and innately flawed. Yes, we have the potential to do good but we all have an inner sinful nature that is part of being human. So you’re not alone.

I didn’t see anything you did that was evil in and of itself. Recently, though, I believe you might’ve poked fun at someone’s post using humor that the poster didn’t understand nor appreciate. In international settings or with children sarcasm doesn’t always translate well, and at times it’s best to forgo the humor for the sake of clear communication and regard for others’ feelings. This is hard to resist sometimes, especially since you are amazingly witty. Nevertheless, I know you can do it because generally you’ve shown good judgement in the forum posts I’ve read since I joined lichess a year ago. Looking forward to reading (and laughing) through many future clousems posts!

By the way, thank you for helping to manage two floods, the forum games deluge (through creating the forum games team) and the horsey deluge*. I’m grateful for your contributions to the lichess community!

* I'm thankful despite the fact that you criticized a list of horsey threads including the very first two threads I ever started (sniff, sniff).
