A range of possibilities here..
1) Horsey is a stallion..the reasoning is that on my post #17 horsey randomly appeared in a blue square..blue is by far the favorite colour of most males..hence stallion.Secondly.the street number of the house I grew up in was ...wait for it...17. Coincidence?mmm...

2) Mare...horsey looks a helluva lot like some of the girls I went out with in my befuddled youth...
