So I'm on lichess on my phone and at the bottom it says "Lichess will restart in 7 minutes" . Why does it say that?

Lichess reboots from time to time in order to implement system improvements. If you are in a game right now, you'd probably like to finish it before the reboot. If your game times out while Lichess is down, there's nothing to be done.
Like you need food to stay healthy , Lichess too needs 1 minute to stay healthy forever!
