Why are most people in the world right-handed?

Hi, this is a strange question for me. What does this really have to do with anything? Some people say that being right-handed or left-handed is related to parents, but this is wrong. I'm left-handed. Although my parents are right-handed
The *perfect* question to ask Lichess mods about in the feedback.
What determines right or left hand use? In terms of evolution, it makes sense to specialize in a hand. Chimpanzees prefer to use different hands for different tasks.

When primatologists studied chimpanzees in the natural environment, they found that their hand use was very different from ours. It was seen that half of them use the right hand and half of them use the left hand in everything they do. So at what stage of evolution did the ratio of 1 to 10 in humans emerge?

An important piece of data regarding this was seen in the teeth of Neanderthals. These ancestors of man were intelligent but somewhat inept. He would grab the knife with his dominant hands, cut the meat of the animal they hunted and tear it off with his teeth. The shape of the wear on the front incisors shows which hand is used for what purpose. Interestingly, a ratio of 1 to 10 was also found in Neanderthals.

Genetic factor
Right or left handed use depends on genetics. But geneticists are still trying to figure out which part of the DNA determines this. This may be due to 40 different genes. So the reason why there are only 10 percent of left hand users is still unknown.

So, does using the left hand have any effect on human life? Except for some difficulty when using scissors, zippers or fountain pens ...
There has been a long debate about how left hand use affects the brain. The right part of the brain controls the left hand, and the left part controls the right hand. Being left-handed may indicate something about the structure of the brain.

According to Chris McManus, a psychologist at UCL University in London, "Left-handers are more skilled in some ways, while they may have disadvantages in other areas. If you're left-handed, your brain is organized differently than normal, which gives you capabilities that others don't."

Professor Dorothy Bishop, a developmental neuropsychologist at the University of Oxford, says that over the years there have been those who associate left-handedness with ailments such as dyslexia and autism, as well as those who attribute positives, saying that architects and musicians are more likely to be left-handed.
Why be a simp when you can be a chimp? Reject humanity, return to monke.
Some people think that left-handers are smarter.🤔
@Donya1386 This is just a wrong but left handed people think it is true, however, left hand or right hand,it doesnt effect your intelligence
Yes, you are right ... whether we are left-handed or right-handed has nothing to do with our intelligence ... this is the opinion of some people. @AOOP09
They think that because they are left handed and they want to be smarter
