Why LM (Lichess Masters) can't play on the title arenas?

And also, can you get a LM, and then change it to (e.j) GM, or is permanently on LM?

And why is unique?

LMs are just titles given by lichess, not real titles. This is why they can’t play. Also, if you are LM and you get a real title you can change it (I’ve seen people change their title before).

LM is not an OTB FIDE title.

If an LM is titled, they can always choose to get the FIDE title on their profile to play titled areas.
