Based on the descriptions of the issues, I'd be interested in hearing the technical details behind ... "We are experiencing issues that are outside our direct control."

Like Developer Update blog post after rectifying things.

I'm being serious and honest. Because the descriptions of the issues people are having (I have not yet experienced myself, today or otherwise) ... they're not fully outside of direct control. (There may be external influences, but, it exposes a server-side problem if not accounted for in the code that runs either client or server-side.)

Just interested in whatever the "outside our direct control" and resolution of such matters is ... whenever dealt-with and one of y'all awesome developers has the time to fix things and update the rest of us on whatever glitch ...

It may very well be the connection of the players from what you guys describe. The site displays the running clock unless a move has been recieved on your side.

and again lovlas.. where can I buy your chill pill? Make joke out of this or take it seriously. Why not give more information of the problems Lichess is facing now? Where is the transparancy when Lichess was small enough to communicate someone directly about these kind of problems? Instead of give a link to some Twitter announcement or saying to someone who is also frustrated to leave Lichess? What is happening?????

The server issues have been resolved. Maybe your internet connection is bad.

And why not post here and not on Twitter? After all, are we on Lichess or Twitter? At least the questions are put here, in a forum of law for such; responding to them in the same place is a matter of respect for the Lichess and, fundamentally, for whoever puts them in and reads them. The issues are relevant and are not posed rudely, and do not deserve evasive responses and much less reported to other sites. If the Lichess does not have the capacity to respond meaningfully to the relevant issues, then give up on his attempts and remain silent; and silence is what we have more here, denoting on this side also a strong need for growth...
