They want to block my nickname

Exactly we don't know about people's intentions by looking at their usernames.

It doesn't matter to you rather it is decided by mods.
If my username was inappropriate then I would have been banned in Feb 2018 only. Lol!
Plus, I don't get your 'cut my hand' analogy.
Anyways, even I am not Akbar fan (somehow came up with than username and can't change!) but as an Indian have to accept that he did revolutionise India.

I'm a software engineer -- I can imagine how hard it could be. But sometimes hard things should be done. This may be one of them. At some point, all the good names will have been taken and abandoned. In 200 years, will Lichess still be around? I don't know. But it shouldn't plan on NOT being around.
@Loser_Abuser
In all, it affected your brain and made your thought terrible.
You won't become a loser if others abuse you so. You stay yourself. Everyone is unique. I can see mental impact but you are bound to get best out of you by replying to critics.
Absolutely ridiculous decision by whoever moderator is behind this, they have let this account play 30k games over 3 years and did nothing to stop it.

There are a lot of lost names from closed accounts. Honestly they should at least wait for the implementation of renaming and just rewrite the code, it's hard, but not impossible with the number of Lichess patrons paying the site. They need to pay servers and stuff but definitely have money to spare for this.

Losing an account that has 30k games absolutely sucks and I hope they would admit their mistakes for not implementing a name filter during registration and let this one slide. Or at least force them to change the name after rewriting the code.
On chess.com, one can entirely change his or her username(once only). Here, you can only change case of the letters(only once).
After spending more than 3 weeks playing on the site and more than 30k games played, they will close your account because of your username. Truly frustrating.

3 years, my friend. I nearly fainted after reading that he played 30k games in 3 weeks.
@Akbar2thegreat the hand cutting thing no? That means when taj Mahal was built, shah Jahan cut the builders hands so that he would not make something so beautiful for anyone else. Now in my post, I pretend to be the builders ghost, who complains about akbar as he was jahangirs father who is shah Jahan s father. So, if Akbar didn't make jahangir, then jahangir wouldn't have made shah Jahan, who cut 'my' (builders) hand. I wrote it as a joke though..but in the morning, sleepily. So it isn't a very nice one I guess

I realize that you were trying to make a joke, but that's the frustrating part. If this guy's username was inappropriate, why did it take three years to tell him?

In 3 years he spent more than three weeks playing
