Swiss tournaments are on Lichess

@lucieon @Molurus it seems that the pairing of the second round does not work because some players have paused (or for another unknown reason).

Edit: There is an increasing number of paused players, the tournament seams to have stopped. We see a repeated 60 sec. countdown but no second round.

That's what beta releases are for: to identify the sort of problems that might occur. I'm sure thibault is looking at it. Meanwhile, let's all be patient and don't forget this is a beta release. We can expect this sort of thing.

Yes and another bug there.It shows 55 players are in,when actually joined only 53 players.

Round-Robin is just Swiss with all players having played everybody

@Molurus I have suggested to switch from Arena to Swiss in our rapid club tournaments. I expect a better discipline in our club and shall tell the participants not to pause.

@thibault Great work, thank you very much! Can players watch the other games while waiting for the next round? This would be a very useful feature.

If it really is the pause button that is causing the problems, disabling it would be an easy fix I'd say.

Let's not speculate about what's causing the tournament to hang. I'm sure thibault is currently analysing this.

I think so. I was watching this tournament as an observer, and I could see the top boards playing live in the tournament overview page. (Which looked really great!!)

I have set up a Swiss Tournament in our club for tonight CET. Will check how it works.
