hello all, i did an update on my mac book pro and now the sound does not play when im playing online. its fine when going over an old game or when im playing vs the machine, but not when im in a live game online.
I'm using safari 12.0 on mac os sierra 10.12.6.
the sound works on firefox.
can anyone help me?
LiChess doesn't like Internet Explore and Safari. They don't like LiChess. Chrome and FireFox likes LiChess. LiChess likes them.

These browsers don't fully support HTML5, so it's difficult for us to support them. It's not that we don't want to support them, it's that we do the majority of our testing in browsers which support the standard and work the same way on every OS.
I'll try looking into this, but I don't think Safari on Windows works very well:
html5test.com/compare/browser/edge/ie-11/safari-11.2.htmli just encountered the same problem. Always worked well on safari until now (>20,000 games). but now no sound during play. [note: sound does work while analyzing someone else games.....strange]

Same for me. Since the update, no sound when I start a new game (with Safari on MacOS). But I found that if I refresh the game page, the sound comes back.
Btw, I'm happy to know that I'm not the only one.
