Show games in the forum

Hi guys,

It would be cool to be able to show a game in a forum post. I'm thinking about this feature, not sure about how it must be done.

Any ideas?

And sorry for this but can you elaborate on what you mean with show a game in a forum post ?

Is that some kind of special post where you feed it the movements from a past game and it would replay it kind of like the Replay and analyze option ? or you mean picking a random current game and show it live on the forum ? or something else ?

I mean, it would be cool to be able to show a played game inside a forum post for analysis purpose.

For exemple I want to talk about a game I played. I want to show the fifth move. I could write something like that:

game[m15_70][5]

And it display an image of the game lichess.org/m15_70 at the fifth move.

Just ideas. I'm not a big chess player, I know few about analysis. But I would like to provide a feature to make chess analysis in this forum easier.

Thanks for some quality points there. I am kind of new to online , so I printed this off to put in my file, any better way to go about keeping track of it then printing?

I second this. It would be nice to be able to embed the games in a post. I imagine this would be too clunky of a way to go about it but what about iframes?
