#9 I guess that's true although I don't think Lichess is going to implement Sofia rules.

Yes it was nice but, seriously, I play chess since not very long time and still I did not develop that important feature of analyze a position, then, as I said, I thought that it was bad for me; I saw an inexistent queen's pin and so on and I resigned!

To avoid this in the future, maybe try not to resign. Even if you see an unstoppable checkmate, who knows, there could be something that happened. Besides, opponents might feel unsatisfied as they could win the game even though they were losing.
