Rematch logic is very flawed

If one is playing on multiple devices, the rematch logic is very flawed. For instance , I often can't see the rematch on the web, if it went to my phone app or vice-versa. I think its sending the rematch to the last device one played a move on... but its very confusing.

Even worse is though is that I recently logged onto the web to see my opponent resigend and offered a rematch - I hit accept - but it didnt accept it - it sent him another challenge... then I went over to my phone and realized I could no longer accept it from that interface either -so now his challenge is lost and I just hope he sees mine and answers on the right device -- though its impossible to even know what the right device is.
Why would you be playing on multiple devices at the same time?
#1 Likewise I'm curious, although to me the use case (switching devices and still wanting to play) sounds plausible.

Sounds like they are talking about correspondence chess rematches.

I do often have to switch from computer to mobile when the computer connection goes away and I have to use mobile data.
Talking about playing on multiple devices, sometimes I switch to mobile when playing longer games and there's an urgent need to take a bathroom break
@Toadofsky

I also think is the "rematch" info/function is flawed in browser. I've learned to live with it, but don't like it.

In browser, if one had a game finished not in open tab
- then one need to open the particular game under PROFILE->GAMES to see rematch button and to accept rematch challenge or initiating a rematch.

If one opens finished games from HOME->HIGHLIGHTS or PROFILE->ACTIVITY then he sees the game as visitor with kind of restricted access (at least it seems to me), because he might see in chat window if there was a rematch offer sent, but will have no access to accept it or send one himself . Also chat window will appear as it does for visitors.

I'd expect to reach all my games on the same way as I do through PROFILE->GAMES. After all I played those games, it would be logical to have full access all time.

@lovlas I prefer to use browser on computer, but I don't just sit in front of the monitor continuously. I like to hear the buzz of the mobile when something has just happened. My mobile also send notification to my smart band and I get the notification even if I'm in other room. I also often have 3-4 Lichess tab open with different games. I rather switch between boards by browser tabs then on Liches UI
Someone else uses their phone while "using the bathroom".
Just thought I would mention it...
