This has happened a few times. This rated rapid game did not result in any rating change:

Well i have overall lost points to that bot including the two previous games: In fact I lost 5 of the previous 7 games with 1 draw reaching my lowest rapid rating - so that is absolutely not the issue. No guesses presented as facts please - there is clearly a different problem here.
Additionally I have played 31 games against the bot in question with a score of 9-22, but have played 877 (694.5-182.5) games against the bot Maia9 and have not encountered this.
The system doesn't quite work as Hung described. But ultimately, it's still due to the bot rating abuse prevention. Gaining rating against bots doesn't really make a lot of sense anyway tbh since it's very different than playing vs humans with the same rating. If you want to gain rating, I'd recommend playing against humans instead.
It doesn't make any sense that I can lose a bunch of games in a row, losing rating points each time, and when I finally get a win it doesn't count? With regard to playing humans, I have played in plenty of tournaments and leagues OTB. I play bots here for fun - and play humans OTB and on other sites.
funny thing, when you filter for "human opponents" in advanced search, it still includes bots
