I suppose you can take a look at their rating card and see if it is way beyond your level. Then (but not recommended) you can abort? That would theoretically be the only way.
1) There's not too many players with stable corresponding rating.
2) Pick from the lobby yourself occasionally, instead of creating the games yourself.
