Can there be additional profile photos on the account profile (icon size 48x48)? Or add account info about gender and date of birth? Make lichess more interesting?
No thanks. Why? Because this is internet and some people can't behave properly.
I know that, but this to reduce or be able to track a cloned account too ..
@bufferunderrun give me a break. Every other website has managed to create profiles with pictures, and somehow they manage to weed out abusive pictures, and we can't? What happened to community moderation? What happened to reporting someone if they use an improper image? Is that reason enough to not have profile pictures?
I think this would be a great. It will give life to each person's profile and will elevate an anonymous-looking username to a real person with a real picture. Why not?
