Why not have an increment? I hate this time wasting, non-sensical shuffle dance that results in many games. I don't want to learn how to do it and I don't want to inflict it on other people. That's not what I play chess for. It's also hard on people who can't move fast because they are disadvantaged even in Rapid.

Don't know about rapid, but there are 3+2 blitz tournaments, they are called "Blitz Inc" or something like that.
Rapid tournaments are fun to play in.I would like to see some 5+5 or 10+5 time controls in them.Hopefully,Lichess will give it a try.There are increment tourneys for bullet 1+1,and blitz 3+2,but they are happening like twice a day.
And you can always open your own tournament too :)
In the lobby pool I'd love to see 5+1 replace 5+0, and 10+2 replace 10+0. Games worth playing shouldn't be decided by random moves.
I agree that in the Lichess Lobby I would like to see an increment for Rapid games and Tournaments. 5+5 is my Recommendation.
