New version doesn't draw the board correctly in Safari

#8 Perhaps you do not have any idea what you are talking about. Yes, many Windows users have brand loyalty but just because Microsoft recommends upgrading to Windows N+1 (and not to BSD or Linux or Qubes or Haiku or anything listed at distrowatch.com) doesn't mean users should upgrade to Windows N+1.
@Toadofsky So you missed the sarcasm in my post, huh? I've never suggested anyone uses Windows! You thought I seriously believe Microsoft paid lichess developers to produce V2 to sell more copies of Windows?

Doof, please stop being wrong or, more likely, lying about what critics have and haven't said here. Nobody in this thread has suggested MS has paid developers to produce v2. If you are legit, instead of spending your time lying about what people have and haven't said, accusing your critics of being crazy, and doing straw man attacks against the critics, why not just restore a backup of the server v1 code and put on old.lichess.org/?
First: I really like lichess V2, enjoy it and fortunatley i have several devices on which it works just fine.

But i just want to step forward and support CrowChess generally: Coding has become a lazy biz these days it seems and no one really cares for a 'perfectly' coded piece of software - because it is not necessary... because there is more anything (ram, rom, space... etc) and indeed, ppl are told to renew all their hardware crap all the time... and they do it... so the main point - as mentioned generally speaking, not about lichess V2 - is absolutely legit and i can totally understand that point of view...
Aghh... that sounds like a grunchy old man, haha... Cut to the point: i hear you, @CrowChess

And thank you for lichess V2, all you awsome ppl who make it possible!
@Granach I agree - the developers here are lazy and awesome. Lichess is open source so if you feel you can do a better job, go for it. If you're not a developer then you might not be best placed to judge whether the decision to stop supporting deprecated browsers was a sound one.
@jasontaylor7 Why don't you restore an old version if you want it? I don't. Be sure to install the forum too, please. So you and others can go on and on and on and on about how much better it was in the old days.
@Doofenshmirtz

Have you read a single word?

I guess within 5 sentences i literally excluded lichess 2 times.

Not sure what you are on about and if you have the slightest idea of what i was talking about at all,, sigh...

Maybe my english is just too bad and it came along totally wrong, then i apologize :-)

Edit, i excluded lichess 3 times, at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of the post, just read it again myself, and i didn t just exclude lichess, i bowed down and am thankful, which i actually wrote.
Maybe i should add something like "professional" coding, but one of my main critics is that there aren t many differences at all between hobby and profession, lol

There were days coders wouldn t even call people coders if they actually script stuff down without a clue of for example registers or how to code resources yourself.... other times, i know, before platforms ruled the world it were ppl who ruled the platforms. Or something like that is one of the critics.

Again, this all has nothing to do with lichess V2 for me - just wanted to make a point and step forward to support someone here who was bashed a lot for a reasonable opinion =)
