Lichess pairing

In this tourney lichess.org/tournament/djppLiuL I was constantly paired with people WAY above my level, is there a better way to pair people?

Look in a good way, if you lose you'll lose fewer points and if somehow you win, you're gonna get lots of points :)
( Not good for your tournament but see the bright side)

And who knows? Playing better players, you might actually learn something.

First round you play a player around your rating. Then after that the pairings are all based on your ranking.
