There is nothing wrong with using an engine to play against stockfish. Stockfish is not rated. It's rating is not going to down if it loses. It won't be sad if it loses to stockfish.

Someone who uses assistance in a rated game against a bot in an attempt to manipulate their own rating is breaking the rules.

If you think someone is cheating report them.
