I reported a computer cheater. Lichess banned him. He is still alowed to play.

@DibDom

This dude got banned 30 seconds after I reported him.

He even has "This player uses chess computer assistance" message.

Why is he still allowed to play?
He is allowed to play with other poor sports. People that use computer assistance too.
That's ridiculous. His account shoud have been blocked by the system so he can't mess others players games. i dpn't understand that.
@beamblitzer It's not that he "even" has that message - that's how his cheating is communicated to other players. He won't be playing anyone who doesn't want to play with cheats. He'll probably be in here soon complaining he's not getting matched for any games.
""This dude got banned 30 seconds after I reported him.

Out of curiosity, how do you know/check if someone is banned? Have you received some message?
@Cedur216 That little bell in top right corner displayed 2 messages:

"Someone you reported was banned." You can click to see whom.

"You lost to a cheater. Refund. 3 blitz points"
Ah ok, makes sense. Btw, did you get a message of "cheat detected" during the game or did you find him suspicious yourself?
@Doofenshmirtz I don't really understand what u said. Can you explain? You said: "He won't be playing anyone who doesn't want to play with cheats." So basically you mean that he will play with people who want to play with someone who cheats. Is there anyone who would want that?

Moreover I've never seen in settings "allow cheating players to invite you to game" feature. Or am I wrong?
A marked player will not play unmarked players in rated games (and I doubt they're able to play in casual games either). Lichess has their methods and I doubt the admins are dumb enough to let marked players roam the site like it's the Wild West.
