How could it happen that "the game is canceled" at the end of the game?

I was in a winning position.The enemy crossed the time of the course, and then a message came about the fact that "the game is canceled."

How could this happen?

I played over 20 moves and finally lichess told me I didn't move? and that game goes back to 0 move

same happened to me.

Becuz the lichess server went down. Lichess aborts the game to prevent an unfair loss

Lichess server error came thats why it was aborted
