GM lost, but it was a draw!!! Moders!! Look at this!!

Look at the final position. White lost on time... BUT! Whatever move they made, it would be a draw. That is, Zhigalko could take a pawn with his king or retreat. The DRAW was even before the grandmaster allegedly "dropped the flag". This is a bug lichess!!

it's not a bug. black wins because he has sufficient material.
What material are you talking about? White is in check - they are obliged to do something, but with any move - a draw.
PAWNS CAN PREMOTE INTO QUEENS, AND QUEENS CAN checkmate. p.s. sorry for the caps lock. i didn't know it was on.

Once white moves (whether he takes the pawn or moves the king away), it would be stalemate. But white has to make that move. If the clock runs out before he does so, he loses on time. That's the way it works...
I agree - it's a 100% draw - no matter what White's make a move!
The simple fact that a 3100+ rated GM can make a move like 38. Qb4 gives me hope for my own game.
white is nowhere forced to take the pawn. the pawn can remain on the board and then there exist mating sequences for black - put a piece on d2, let black promote, blunder your remaining stuff too ...

also greetings to the dishonorable team mod who timed out all the ukraine support. Freedom will succeed!
