Feature request please.

It bugs me when my opponent adds time to my clock. I wish there was some way to prevent that from happening. I want to earn my win. I don't want any help.

Is this feature really needed?

It's not "really needed," it's just a useful addition that a lot of users would appreciate.

#3 - lego00 - I didn't know where Kiribati is so I looked it up. You're in the middle of nowhere, an island south of Hawaii. It looks like a paradise.

After time has been added, you can elect to resign when you think your clock has run too low.

#5 When my opponent throws out the rules of chess and gives me extra time, I win the game and then I block the opponent. I wish I didn't have to block these people. It would be better if there was a way to prevent time from being added.

Serious chess players do not throw out the rules of chess during the game. I want to play by the rules, no exceptions. It would be nice if the best chess website in the world, lichess, would make obeying the rules easy.

Kiribati sure looks nice indeed, though I doubt they have a good internet connection there. I might have to change my location.

Agreed with the OP.

This is just similar to the option of "takeback move". Useful when you need it but annoying or even disturbing when you don't want it.

So just like the takeback move feature this should also have its toggle to turn it on or off. I think it's a little bit more on the "necessity" end of the scale than "not really needed but would be nice" end.

I think just a button in your personal settings would do it.

Takeback moves, that you can still decline.

Yeah, I found it confusing and a little irritating when someone added time to my clock. Might be nice when you're playing a buddy, but I'd appreciate a button to allow/disallow extra time gifts.
