Daily Atomic Time Control Change

I was playing in the Daily Atomic today, and I saw that the time control was changed from 5+0 to 3+0. To me this makes no sense as I never see 3+0 tournaments being created; for the blitz time control it's either 3+2 or 5+0, so the question that I have is why was the time control changed to 3+0 when it's not a popular time control for atomic?

inc is simply not popular, and lower time controls mean faster pairs, allowing a tourney to survive with fewer players.

imo 3+0 is the defacto online blitz speed, so that's what we switched variant dailys to. Weekly tourneys aren't affected.
