computer A.I. levels changed?

Hi -- When i play with the computer, i usually set it at Level 6 (A.I. 1900). When i played today, however, i noticed that Level 6 now appears as A.I. 2300! Has something changed in your system? I suspect that the new A.I. is a mistake, because the computer didn't play appreciably better or different than before.

I Always train my French opening with black at level 8 and now I find stockfish play differently. It always push his e4 pawn when normally just grab the pawn exd5

I noticed it as well in the Chess960 AI. Level 5 went from 1700 to 2000. I used to be level 6 was 1900.

@kasj1964 @TheRazor01 @tim1361 They changed all of the computer levels. Now the range is from 800-3000 instead of 1350-2600. The lower levels were too hard for beginners.

It doesn't seem to be the same level of difficulty as before. I was pretty much getting half+ points at 1700 (level 5) and would get beat royally at 1900 (level 6). Yesterday I won 2 games at the new L5 before I realised it said 2000. Maybe it just takes some time to settle in.

Anyway back to my wood pushing self :)
