Are there BOTS on LC who play to lose?

#10 We don't have anywhere near the budget for us to be hosting an AI farm. I think many enthusiasts like hosting Leela, Stockfish, etc. on their machines for some reason.

My reason for running @GodelEscherBot is much more practical: to find and fix bugs (with Stockfish and Lichess).
I also noticed that when i reach a rating above 2000, i often meet a long sequence of low rated but very strong "players".
Their goal seems to grind down my rating.
Very strange is the fact that they seem to know how i'm playing. For instance, when i play black in a bullet game :
1. d4 f5 2. Bg5 ?? to capture my queen if i play too fast.
On the other hand, i sometimes meet sequences of high rated players who play like nerds.
Finally, i've decided to avoid quick pairing, and i only play with friends.
I don't trust automatic pairing anymore.
