A little "pawn" bug

In moves 6-7 (e5 exd6). Happens every time when i move pawn to d5.

We are all at different levels of ability and experience. Sometimes we may think something is a bug when it is in fact a rule of which we are unaware. That seems to have been behind Sony111's comment and this exchange has made him (her?) aware of a rule they might otherwise have remained ignorant of. Fair enough... surely it's not necessary to adopt so superior or censorious a tone when correcting someone...?
