weird problem

i don't get it why you should take the knight rather than the rook neither the computer does

Haha. Black plays 0-0-0 without moving the rook!

allright i didn't pay attention to this, this is definitely weird as the computer doesn't even consider the rook is on D8 after that

Clearly after 12...0-0-0 (by half) aka 12...Ke8-Kc8, without moving the QR, White makes up his own rules and plays 13.Qxa8# ! :-)
Reminds me of an American football pass way down the field.

If only this was an April fools joke, but the training exercise is as described.

if he puts the other knight on D7 i'm wondering what's next
granted white is doing well but so what?
