Scandinavian "Defence" and...

I recently chose an "opening" to play as black. Well, not so much an opening as Organised Randomness
1. e4 d5 2. Randomness, 1. e4 d5 2. exd5 Nf6 3. Randomness. Amazingly, 80-90% of the games are already out of theory after the second move and I'm perfectly happy with that.

I'm currently sub-1500 and understand openings are the least of my worries, but I will eventually, many moons from now, have to start learning something more substantive. With that in mind, could anyone recommend something fighting that will still lead to the active middle games that a slowly developing player needs to improve his tactical abilities and board vision? Anything other there than 1...c5 please, because that seems like too much theory for a hobbyist player.

you want opening against e4
something fighting that will still lead to the active middle games
not c5

first I would suggest c5 regardless of the theory
if not, try g6, e5 or stick with d5
@ConnorMcCartney

Thanks. I plan to stay with d5 for a long time, I'm just thinking of something to change it up. I feel like I'll end up going e5 and fingers crossed :P
I think Scandinavian might be one of my strongest openings for black, I’ll check later on the pc.

Anyways players around our rating shouldn’t judge openings coz the computer says it’s slightly better for white.

Scandinavian can be played at scrub level just to force a more open position and train tactics. At intermediate level you can learn about sacrificing material for a perpetual when your losing and exchange sacrifices, as that happens more often than in other openings.
best one is queens gambit . king's indian defense is good . but queens gambit is better than kings indian defense
hi guys i think scandinavian is a reealy good opening.
