Lol, with a knight he still could have mated you, if he had no knight it would be a draw but since he had a chance of winning it counted as a loss for you. You should study lichess rules more.

Not just lichess rules. This is an OTB win for white as well.

You can block your king with all your pieces and they can check you and that will be mate

They should change rules. Smothered mates no longer possible with social distancing, should have been draw.

i checked the game it was very easy checkmate wasted a lot of moves

so it should be a loss

We shoudl have counter for someoneaskin why this was a loss question while failing to know/understans rules of chess. Though USCF still seems to have their own rule for this
