A new variant idea

Recently, I've gotten addicted to variants in Lichess. This made me think of other cool variants. And finally, I came up with an idea for a new variant, called "Solar". Essentially how it works is that whenever you take a piece with a figure other than the king, it swaps places with it. For example, if a queen who was standing on a3 took a pawn or anything else on a6 for example, the figure it took would go to a3 and the queen would go to a6. The catch is, the king cannot swap places with any figures and can only take them normally if they are not protected. The end goal of this variant is to checkmate the other opponent. Stalemate equals draw. Thoughts? Ideas? Tell me what y'all think about it.

You're gonna need to have SF support this, which I find highly unlikely. Probably can be casually played OTB (irl) though. Have you playtested it though?

Idk this forum has to get huge for some mods to see it. But I'll wish for the best.
