My first game against a GM and I blew itππ
I admire Andrew so much and couldn't contain myself. I played so badly. How do I get over this ?
I played no where near my best, my brain froze and my hands shivered when he accepted my challenge

When I first played a GM I also that game but on second time I crushed him. You will improve slowly.

Don't get nervous, you have nothing to lose but a lot of things to gain. Remember, when you are playing a higher rated opponent your opponent is under pressure not you because you have nothing to lose.
@tpr any wise words on how to cope with my feelings right now. I could get use some analysis here but I feel I played a bad game.
At least you didn't lose a won game - that would be much more disturbing. White was standing better from 9th move to the end.
Don't get me wrong, but you are 2000 player and he is a bullet&blitz specialist. The day before he beat Carlsen (who won the match eventually) numerously. More than 25 times in a match! There is nothing blown from your point. It is just a good memory to play with, and to be beaten by Penguin! Don't worry and keep up to improve yourself. Good luck!
