Why You Should Never Offer A Draw

This is an over-simplification in my opinion. Studer completely ignores players' psychological nuances. It is easy for him to make simple points given his position as a talented player, one of the strongest in his country. Not everyone has his self-confidence.
For instance, a player may have lost several; games in succession; losing a third one would leave a scar; a draw is a way to rebuilding self-confidence. Secondly, if it is team match rather than an individual situation, the team one represents may need the draw. I can think of more reasons but that is enough to show that GM Studer is over-simplifying.
