About me

Hey there!

I discovered chess relatively late, at around 14 or 15, but my passion and dedication quickly took over.
Now, at 19, I've had the privilege of competing against and defeating Grandmasters (GMs), International Masters (IMs), and FIDE Masters (FMs) in classical chess games.

Playing experience

My career as a player:
3rd place at the European Chess Championship (U2300)
3rd place at the Liechtenstein Chess Championship (2X)
Multiple podium finishes in over-the-board Classical and Blitz tournaments

Teaching experience

My career as a coach:
For the past three years, I've been coaching players of all levels and ages.
Some highlights include:
Seconding a FIDE Master (FM)
Coaching 2 Woman FIDE Masters (WFM), 2 National Masters (NM), and 2 Woman Candidate Masters (WCM)
One of my students, who started from scratch, achieved an 1800 FIDE rating in just one month of training.
3 Students of mine played at the 45th Chess Olympiad in the Open and Woman section.

Other experiences

In addition to coaching, I'm also writing chess manuals for both schools and individual players, designed to make learning chess accessible and engaging. While I also teach chess on my YouTube channel, I primarily use it to let the world know I exist! 😄

Beyond chess, I have a few other passions. I play tennis, teach languages and run my own book translating/publishing company.

Best skills

With my guidance, you'll learn :

- Saving lost positions by finding hidden resources on the board
- Converting small advantages into decisive victories
- Becoming highly practical in your approach, learning when to push, when to hold, and how to outlast your opponents in long, tough games.

If you're looking to elevate your practical play and develop a deep understanding of positional chess, I'm here to help you reach the next level.

Teaching methodology

In our sessions, we’ll focus on improving your thinking process and sharpening both your positional and practical chess skills. Together, we’ll work on:

Developing structured thought processes to guide your decisions in any position.
Mastering positional chess, helping you recognize key imbalances and strategically exploit them.
Honing your practical play, teaching you how to convert small advantages, defend tough positions, and make the best moves under pressure.
With this approach, you'll not only grow as a player but also build a deep understanding of chess at every stage of the game.
