About me

Hi, I am 34 years old, a Women Grandmaster, FIDE Trainer and International Arbiter from Belgrade, Serbia.

I started to play chess active in a club/chess school in 1991. As young, I participated in many tournaments. I always enjoyed the fighting spirit of the chess game and the ways how chess teaches us to look on life and improve.

Except chess activities, I am the mom of the boy. Also, I like to travel /the main reason to choose chess as a profession/ and to read books.

Playing experience

I am Woman Grandmaster, with the highest officially published FIDE elo 2383.

I played in 4 Chess Olympiads for the Women National team.

Winner of European Super Cup U18 and holder of few European medals in youth and junior events - team, rapid and blitz.

Teaching experience

I had my first student at age 16 (he is a FIDE Master).
As a trainer/coach, I have had many students with regional, national and EU medals in youth and junior events. I like to teach both individual and group lessons.

I am former Selector and trainer of youth and the junior national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and captain of the Bosnian Women Olympic Team in 2016.

Other experiences

"Chess for youth - Chess in Schools" 2012-2015, Leader of the pilot project

COO "Yes2Chess" 2018

General Secretary of Association of Chess Professionals 2019 - present

Secretary of FIDE Online Commission 2014 - present

Best skills

- how to use chess software
- opening theory
- dynamical play
- endgames
- chess strategy
- chess tactics
- way of thinking in chess

Teaching methodology

I would like to get student games (classic, rapid or blitz), to understand the level of play and patterns student is using. In the case of individual lessons, the program is different for each student and depends: - what student wants to learn; - what are student parts of the game which have to be improved.

If you have any questions or you are interested in the chess lesson, feel free to contact me here or on email:
