Playing experience

Some of my greatest achievements include winning first place in Balkan Chess Championship and South Eastern Europe Chess Championship twice and second place in European Rapid Chess Championship. Also, I won first place in Serbia Youth Chess Championship and second place in Serbia Woman Chess Championship. I am the 2019 Minnesota women chess champion.

Teaching experience

I have been teaching chess professionally in Rochester, MN. I have given both private and group lessons, been a lead instructor in various chess camps and taught chess in community schools. In recent years, I have primarily been teaching online, working with students from different parts of the world.

Other experiences

I’ve created a course called “The Basics of Chess Strategy,” designed to give players of all levels a solid foundation in strategy. Check it out here:

Teaching methodology

I look for strengths and weaknesses of students and provide them with relevant material to improve their play. Classes include a variety of topics such as game analysis, developing an opening repertoire that fits the student’s style of play, typical middlegame ideas and structures, specific opening preparation for an opponent, calculation, visualization, endgame theory and anything else the student wants to learn.
