Hi there! I’m Gerrit, a 22-year-old FIDE Master based in Hamburg, Germany, and a student of Psychology. Having played chess at a competitive level for years, I understand the mindset needed for improvement and how to stay sharp under pressure. As an active competitor, I frequently travel to tournaments and am currently striving to earn my International Master (IM) norms. My experience spans both domestic and international competitions, giving me a well-rounded perspective on the game and its challenges at all levels.

With over 6 years of teaching experience, I’ve had the pleasure of coaching students of all ages and skill levels in both private and group settings.
