I am Tamas Fodor a Grandmaster from Hungary.
Living in London, coaching for years.

Playing since I was 5 years old. I started competing very early on and been to many international tournaments.
Since 2013 been a Grandmaster competing in different countries, tournaments/leagues, teaching as well for the last 6 years. My best results since junior age.

• 2010 Open Hungarian Men’s Championship – Zalakaros 1st place
• 2010 Junior Hungarian Championship (under 20) 1st place
• 2009 European Team Chess Championship (under 18, Hungary) 1st place
• 2008 Junior Hungarian Championship (under 20) 1st place
• 2008 European Team Chess Championship (under 18, Hungary) 2nd place
• 2007 Team Youth Chess Olympiad (under 16, Hungary) 2nd place
• 2006 Team Youth Chess Olympiad (under 16, Hungary) 4th place
• 2001 World Chess Championship (under 10) 1st place
• 2000 European Chess Championship (under 10) 5th place

I prefer Strategy and Endgames so in my teaching, I put a big emphasis on them.

I try to give everyone the necessary materials to improve on their lacking skills. Everyone should reach a standard in all different aspects of the game first then focus on their strong points to excel.
