I am a professional chess player, coach, and streamer from South Africa with nearly a decade of coaching experience.

I began coaching in 2015, working with schools, clubs, and private students of all ages and levels. Over the years, I’ve learned that strong results don’t come from what you know, but how you explain it. Teaching chess is a skill of its own and one I’ve intentionally developed.

My coaching style is patient, structured, and highly adaptable. I tailor each session to the student’s goals and learning pace, focusing on clear concepts, practical decision-making, and long-term improvement.

I have been playing chess since 2005. I've represented my region at the national championship from 2006-present.
I attained my WIM title in 2016 and have a few WGM norms through continental championships.
In 2021, I achieved my WGM-elect title which becomes official upon reaching 2100 FIDE.

I am now the Head Coach and Chief of Operations at AR Chess Academy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

My journey as a chess streamer and commentator began in 2020. I started out by commentating for the Cairns Cup on chess.com and moved on to work for other events too. Today, I am privileged enough to travel and do what I love.
