I'm an Armenian FIDE Master with ten years of experience. I grew up in Armenia, the land of 64 squares, where the average chess player is more competitive than siblings fighting over the front seat. Playing from the age of eight, I have always loved trying different methods to improve my skills. From that young age, I loved helping fellow classmates and my siblings improve their chess knowledge. I am guided by the importance of loving what you do, and I encourage my students to do the same.

Teaching experience
I have been coaching students for four years.
Worked with Nvard (ratings.fide.com/profile/13316460) in 2024. She improved her FIDE rating by 250 points in September, climbing from 1748 to 2002. She achieved this by becoming a top-20 player in the European Youth Chess Championship 2024 - Girls U16 (chess-results.com/tnr977139.aspx?lan=1&art=1&rd=9&flag=30).
Coached my classmates to prepare them for the Armenian School Chess Olympiad. My team won a bronze medal in 2021 (archive.chess-results.com/tnr587376.aspx?lan=1&transfer=J). We also won gold in the Yerevan School Chess Olympiad (archive.chess-results.com/tnr581585.aspx?lan=1&transfer=J).
Worked with Narek (www.chess.com/member/nar-cheese) from February 2023. After just three months, he improved his blitz rating by 400 points, going from 1800 to 2200.

Teaching methodology
I prioritize balancing all aspects of my students’ chess skills.
First, I analyze some of the games played by my students to identify their strengths and weaknesses. After this, I make a personalized study plan to ensure stable growth.
I assign homework and find appropriate tournaments for my students. I also offer coaching during tournaments to help analyze the opponents and prepare for the games. In my opinion, self-studying is also important, so I also give my students suggestions on what to do outside of our lessons.
I am happy to work on the mental aspect of your games as well. Playing for thirteen years, I can relate to how nervous you may be in time pressure or how tough it may be to bounce back after making a blunder. I help my students prepare for such situations.
