My name is Jop Delemarre. Dutch chess trainer with more than 20 years of chess training experience. Many players got IM and GM-norms, international titles, impressive tournament victories or remarkable progress while working with them.

My chesstrainer mission is to make your chess dreams come true! I felt while i was youth player, a strong guidance to become stronger. My deepest wish and drive in being chesstrainer, is to help you to make your chess dreams come true, while having big fun together!

I'm an allround trainer and chesstrainer instructor who have large and extensive experience over the passed years with all levels of players and trainers.

I'm International Master since 1996

Was several times national youth champion, later national team champion and participated in Youth world- and european championships.

Beated strong GM's and surprised the world as youth player with two draws against Timman in his time as vice world champion.

I Made my GM-norm in 2007 and after was mainly focussing on becoming a fulltime professional chesstrainer.

Have my University Postdoctoral Teacher degeree, made all 4 licenced chesstrainer educational programm of Dutch Federation, FIDE trainer and already several Instructor of teachers courses for Dutch federation and since last year also for FIDE.

While i have full didactical teacher education, i can make a very adjust chess development program, where joy and systematic learning, while practicing will be integrated in our programm.

Game analysis, building your repertoire while playing, included more tactics in your games and spotting the right moment to think! :)

Since 2014 i have my own Delemarre Chess Academy

Workshops for chesstrainers and coaches
And of course daily trainings to national and international Amateur players and chess enthousiastics! :)

I make use of several high class books, the world wide translated and famous stepsmethod in combination with your own games. I'm very systematic and clear in method, you will be able to follow every step we make.
