Teaching methodology
My teaching methodology:
- I use Skype or Zoom to communicate and use chess.com analysis board to work with students.
- In the first lesson, I will have a general evaluation to personalize the lessons based on students’ chess style, strengths and weaknesses.
- My lessons will consolidate and accumulate the students’ chess knowledge on every area of chess. I will provide multiform materials: training plan, assignments, books, opening analysis, detailed feedback after each session.
I keep track of students' progress frequently. I play practice games and/or give detailed analysis for students' selected games, including professional suggestions for their best improving process. I have had students with remarkable rating improvement.
- By sharing stories about my road to become a GM and my journey around the globe to compete chess, I motivate my students to love chess, work hard and give their best to the game.
