About me
Playing experience
I've been playing chess since I was 4 years old. During that time I was a Serbian junior champion 3 times, ranked top 10 in Junior European Championship twice, won dozens of Rapid and Blitz tournaments.
Teaching experience
In my time as a chess coach I was truly fortunate to work with lots of people. The most important thing that allowed me to improve as a coach is the fact that I worked with students from the age of 8 to over 60. Also, just as important was that many of them were complete beginners, and some of them had a rating of over 2100. This fact forced me to learn how to work with players of different levels and ambitions.
Also, I was a teacher at several chess camps, and I've also accompanied my students in person at some of their tournaments, both of which were very important experiences for my development as a chess coach.

Other experiences
Held 3 chess camps for kids, and a number of online group lessons.
Best skills
Since I was a kid to this day, my style of playing chess was always very simple: I believe in playing main lines, and I like to play sharp positions. Of course, with years comes maturity, and a realization that if you want to be a good player, you must be ready to play every type of a position.
In almost 25 years of playing chess, I learned that the single most underrated attribute a chess player can have is to fight as hard as possible, from the first to the last move. In my experience, kids who develop that way of thinking early not only become stronger players, but that mindset becomes almost infectious and it translates to other aspects of live.

Teaching methodology
I truly believe that the single most important factor which decides a quality of a lesson is the time a coach invests in preparing it. All I can guarantee for my student is that it will be very difficult for them to find someone as dedicated and hard working as I am.
My approach to teaching chess is to get to know my students as well as possible, which then allows me to find out what is it that they truly need to work on. My goal is never instant success, but long term improvement in chess knowledge and understanding.
For my students I am always available, and always ready to work on whatever they need. I prefer to run my lessons on Lichess (study section with analysis board), but in the end, it's always a student who will decide where and when we will work.
I do chess lessons, practice games, and during-a-tournament preparation, with big focus on chess psychology and creating a correct mindset.
