Welcome to my chess kingdom! My name is Balind Nadj Hedjesi, an International Master from Serbia, with a burning passion for the game. I have devoted my life to mastering chess and as a professional chess coach, I am eager to share my knowledge and experience with players of all levels. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, I am committed to help you achieve your goals and improve your game. As a chess player, I have a wealth of experience. I am an International Master with a peak FIDE rating of 2463. I have been the winner of many open and closed tournaments, including the International tournament in Senta, Epernay, Ayvalik open, Championship of Vojvodina, and Subotica. However, my crowning achievement remains winning the European Rapid Champion U16 and U18 in the same time (Novi Sad 2001) and U20 Championship of Serbia and Montenegro, where I had the honor to represent my country at the World Championship U20 in India.

As a graduate of the Sports Academy in Belgrade with a Chess Coach degree, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. I have been working as a coach for many years, from teaching at a local chess club, and working with primary school children, to mentoring international students of various skill levels. My expertise lies in working with young people, as I have a proven track record of understanding and adapting to their unique learning styles. I am passionate about helping them unlock their full potential and achieve their chess goals. With my expertise, energy, and enthusiasm, I invite you to join me on this journey of growth and improvement as we make chess an engaging and enjoyable experience together.

When I'm not busy dominating the chessboard, you can find me dominating the basketball court! Some might even call me the James Harden of Tavankut. :) But don't just take my word for it, come see for yourself! And don't mind my profile picture, it's just a little outdated. As a chess coach, one of my greatest strengths is my ability to teach and train in the areas of tactics and endgames. I have a true passion for attacking chess and creating a dynamic, exciting play on the board. I pride myself on my ability to quickly identify and address the common flaws in my students' game, and work with them to improve and excel in these areas.

As a chess coach, I use a variety of teaching methods to ensure the best possible learning experience for my students. For interactive and real-time lessons, I use platforms such as Discord or Skype (or some other platform similar to Skype). This allows for a more hands-on approach and allows me to provide immediate feedback and guidance. For more focused and analytical study, I use the Lichess Study tool. This allows for in-depth analysis of specific positions and strategies, and provides my students with a comprehensive understanding of the game. By using a combination of these methods, I am able to provide a well-rounded and effective chess education.
