El próximo jueves 10 de octubre tendrá lugar la quinta edición del Torneo Internacional Club Ajedrez Paterna en el que se darán cita un total de 20 participantes de los que 15 serán titulados internacionales entre Grandes Maestros, Maestros Internacionales y Maestros FIDE. El torneo cuenta con el patrocinio de la Dirección General de Deportes de la Generalitat Valenciana y la colaboración del Ayuntamiento de Paterna y de la firma Andreu Barberá.

La fase previa constará de dos grupos de 8 jugadores, donde se clasificarán los dos mejores de cada grupo. En la fase final estos cuatro jugadores se enfrentarán en formato knockout a los ya clasificados MI Diego Macías, GM Jorden Van Foreest, GM Mariya Muzychuk y GM Shamsiddin Vokhidov.
El ritmo de juego será de 5 minutos más 3 segundos de incremento por movimiento desde la primera jugada.

Next October 10th will take place the fifth edition of the Paterna Chess Club International Tournament. It will meet 20 players of which 15 will be titled. The tournament is sponsored by the General Directorate of Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana and the collaboration of the Paterna City Council and the Andreu Barberá company.

The qualifying round will consist of two groups of eight players, with the top two players from each group qualifying. In the final round, these four players will face in knockout format the already qualified IM Diego Macías, GM Jorden Van Foreest, GM Mariya Muzychuk and GM Shamsiddin Vokhidov.
The time control is 5 minutes with a 3-second increment beggining from move one
