The FIDE Women's Candidates Tournament 2022 - Pool A takes place from the 24th of October to the 6th of November in Monte Carlo, Monaco, deciding the challenger of Women's World Champion Ju Wenjun in the FIDE Women's World Chess Championship 2023. The tournament is played as a 8-player Knockout in three rounds.
This tournament consists of Round 1 and 2, played by the 4 players in Pool A.

Time control is 90 minutes for 40 moves, followed by 30 minutes for the rest of the game, with a 30-second increment beginning from move one.

The total prize fund is 250.000€.
