The Rapid section of 24th Central American and Caribbean Games is a 16-team round-robin tournament held from the 3rd of July to the 5th in San Salvador, El Salvador.

The participating countries are Barbados, Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Trinidad and Tobago, Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica, Saint Lucia, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

The time control is 15 minutes with a 10-second increment beginning from move one.
