Ludwig Wittgenstein
8 lines bringing you a couple of wits plus what else moves me aboutWittgenstein said something like 'In philosophy, the slowest horse wins. (The last one to finish).' -Unlike horsey.
But Wittgenstein also said something like 'Philosophers are fine, if they can stop whenever they want.' -Like chess players.
I am not a fine chess player, nor a philosopher: I gladly stop bullet (2+1) when I am 499:12:525 with 3 days and 51 minutes of play. I happily stop playing lichess for a while, when my stats have spun 'double jackpot' (777:24:777).
Quite good, if numbers stop me, I take it, do my philosophy, will be a fine chessplayer.
